Peguero spent six years working in Congress, most recently as investigative counsel to the Committee Investigating the January 6th Attack on the Capitol and as chief of staff to a congressman.
A first-generation American whose parents emigrated from Latin America, he graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law.
He is a New York Times-reviewed novelist and attorney who served as a homicide prosecutor in his hometown of Miami right out of law school. Currently, he teaches law as an assistant professor focusing on criminal law and procedure.
He is author of “ONE IN THE CHAMBER” and New York Times-Reviewed “WITH PREJUDICE”.
