Kristofer is a Miami native with a lifelong commitment to Democratic and nonpartisan progressive activism. He studied Political Science at the University of Chicago with a focus on Electoral Politics.
He has worked on many federal and local elections throughout his career, notably contributing to Senator Tammy Duckworth’s first campaign for Congress and Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign in Indiana.
Over the years, he’s also served on several boards and committees: he currently sits on the boards of the Miami Chapter of the American Constitution Society and Miami-Dade County’s Building Better Communities Committee, is a former board member of the ACLU of Miami and co-chair of the ACLU’s Forums Committee, and previously served as a board member of the Miami Downtown Dems.
In his professional life, Kristofer is an attorney at Carnival Corporation. In his spare time, Kristofer enjoys gardening, playing basketball, long-distance running, and Pilates.
